Let’s Talk Kitchens & Interiors is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate person, experienced in administration and customer service, to join the team at its Canterbury, Melbourne showroom.

Established in 1972, Let’s Talk Kitchens & Interiors (LTKI) is a mid to high-end, multi-award-winning Interior Design & Construction company that offers quality, custom designed solutions for all areas of the home that incorporate built in joinery & structural renovations. LTKI designs, builds and project manages bespoke kitchens, bathrooms, laundries, wardrobes, and much more.

An opportunity exists for an experienced administrator and customer service specialist, with an interest in interior design and renovation, to join our successful, close-knit team in a full-time capacity.

Based in our Canterbury design studio, the successful candidate will be responsible for a range of administrative and customer service duties that assist in the smooth running of day-to-day operations at LTKI.

These include, answering in-bound calls, greeting showroom visitors, assisting the design and management team, maintaining the presentation of the showroom/office, project scheduling, general administration duties and data entry. This role will suit someone who is self-motivated, dynamic and a flexible thinker, who enjoys new challenges and experiences daily.

The successful candidates will have:

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role in project administration, administration and/or customer service.
  • Computer literate and proficient in the use of MS Office – Excel, Word, Outlook, etc. A knowledge of Xero accounting software would be an asset.
  • A life mindset that says, “If it is to be, it’s up to me”.
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills with a high attention to detail
  • A preparedness to always do more than is expected of you and see yourself as a team player.
  • A knowledge of domestic building processes relative to home renovation would be advantageous.
  • An interest in Interior Design, however formal qualifications or experience in this field are not necessary.
  • Experience working in an Architectural or Interior Design office would be valued.
  • A willingness to learn and immerse yourself in LTKI’s ethos.
  • An approachable manner and positive attitude.
