Montmorency Kitchen Transformation

A Project by Cherie He from LTKI

Diving into the Montmorency kitchen redesign by LTKI, one can witness a blend of innovation and vision. This isn’t merely a renovation; it’s a reimagining of space, functionality, and aesthetics within the confines of a 17-year-old brick home.

The original G-shaped layout posed a unique challenge. Instead of following conventional design pathways, an inventive approach was taken by introducing an internal wall, enabling the kitchen to be nestled closer to the eastern window. This shift bathed the space in rejuvenating morning sunlight, redefining how space can be utilised to its utmost potential.

The connection between indoor and outdoor is beautifully showcased with the woodgrain-finished breakfast bar that overlooks a lush garden, embodying the concept of nature-infused design.

Material and color choices in the renovation reflect a thoughtful balance of the client’s preferences and modern design elements. The medium to dark grey tones, enhanced with warm woodgrain and punctuated by industrial black accents, bring forth a design that’s both contemporary and inviting.

The introduction of a walk-in pantry, a seamlessly integrated laundry area, and a multifunctional island each highlight the commitment to maximising utility without sacrificing design integrity.

Light, often a designer’s unsung ally, was harnessed adeptly using concealed LED fixtures, subtly enhancing the kitchen’s ambiance and highlighting its features.

The Montmorency kitchen transformation by LTKI is an exemplar of innovative design that speaks both to functionality and emotional resonance.

I took the recommendation to use LTKI. Not only did they work to schedule and on budget I also had the benefit of Rebecca Meyer's artistic design. I just let Rebecca do it all. Best decision I ever made. I won't ever bother trying to manage a home project again.

The team at LTKI did a terrific job on renovating our bathroom, kitchen and living areas of our large family home. Mark's designs and creativity were more than we could have imagined. Everyone associated with the project were very supportive and made what could of been stressful into a manageable and easy process. All the trades involved were very reliable, professional and easy to get along with. We are extremely happy with the final outcome and look forward to working with this awesome team on our next project.

After contacting Rex to try and get a fix for our builder installed kitchen. He came out, offered great advice, and directed us to a tradesman that fixed our problem. Even though this didn't result in work for LTKI took the time and effort to help us when no one else would.

An outstanding job. Only two hiccups First, when installing Qasair range hood, it was discovered that we had the wrong type for an induction stove top. Trouble was that the correct range hood was 30mm thicker. This required a complete replacement of the cupboards. Second, the induction cook top was put too far forward in the Corian bench top. Most of the bench tops had to be replaced. In both cases the problems were fixed at no expense to the client. Very impressed
